Buster is the most independent dog we have in the house. Ther'es currently 3 dogs, 2 cats in our 2bed, 2 bath apartment. 1 giant ass hounddog, 1 lab mix(don't know the mix) and 1 Pembroke welsh corgi. The corgi and lab-mix are our dogs and they've slowly gotten to learn how to get along. We take them to the field and let them run.The corgi barks at the lab (at first to tell him to fuck off, but now to tell him he's challenging him to run faster). It really is a complex relationship that the lab and corgi have begun to develop.
However, Buster is a lonesome dog. He loves to run....but loves to run outside of our vision. He often finds ways to run behind trees, through brush and even under leaves. He has mastered the art of deception. More than often we have thought he was in one area and upon further inspection, we realize he has managed to run the other way.
As you can tell...we are a family of dog lovers (without the love of cats). If we had our own acreage, we would absolutely foster as many dogs as possible. That is who we are...
